Found this shot of Tri- County EMS in Alberta. Company was owned by our own Bruce Osborne. Maybe Bruce can fill in the blanks as to when and where this pic was taken.

Denny, thanks for the posts. I hope we hear more about the pics. Up here "Rescue" services would typically be supplied by the town, city or county. It will be interesting to hear if these are government or privately owned.

We were the contract operator from 1977 t0 1993 in the City and County of Leduc. The Rescue unit was owned by us and responded countywide. We we were able to obtain the first Jaws of Life unit in the county. remember , back then a lot of cities to-day were small towns. Leduc for example was 5-6000 residents Now 50,000.or more. Times sure have changed. We never charged for extraction, as the equipment was donated thru local service clubs. Useage of the Jaws etc. was never billed out only a reponse fee and hr. on scene. This unit was the sweetheart of the R.C.M.P as the Accident reconstruction team loved the unit for it's auxillary lighting and of course COFFEE at 40 below. The unit also carried the M.C.I equipment for the Edmonton Airport as we were first in- Bruce
