When I hosted the Trillium Chapter fall meet last year, one of the tours was The Guild of Automotive Restorers in Bradford ON.
I drove my 60 S/S over there today to see if they would be interested in polishing my car for me.
First he looked all over the car and said it was a fabulous find !
As I was getting ready to leave, he asked me if I was holding another meet this year. I told him it may be in Chatham this year as we never did have a spring meet.
He says, please let me know when the next meet is as I would like to attend the next gathering. He said, Until you brought your club by I never knew how cool those cars were and would like to learn more about them.
He also mentioned that he saw Patti and John again at a meet with their 39 S/S. He said it was between him and them for first place.
John and Patti took Best of Show !
Hopefully we have a new member soon !
He did say he talked to his wife and she said, NO HEARSE !
I hope she learns to like it when he gets one !!!!!
By the way, he said I should take the car "as is" as a survivor.
