I need some help in identifying this Ferno stretcher that I pulled out of the third floor of an extremely old funeral home this last week. Any thoughts?
It's what I know to be called a "stair chair". It could be used as a flat stretcher (as the head doesn't raise) or configured like a wheel chair for a sitting patient.
The wheels allow it to be used as a removal stretcher or a secondary stretcher in an ambulance.
It usually would have 2 sets of straps with it as well.
Steve Loftin could probably tell us the model number.
If you list the serial number that would help date it.
