This car is a stunner. It belongs to Ken Heyl a funeral director in Ashland. The interior has been redone but, is not exactly proper (wrong upholstery, wrong color, wrong rollers, etc., other that that, it's immaculate, smooth running and probably worth the money. This is a Sterling on a Buick 40 (Special) Series chassis.

It's beautiful, but out of my price range....otherwise it would be perfect for me and exactly what i'm looking for.

Steve, I've seen and inspected this car closely but, that was a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly, I believe that it was originally equipped as a combination car. According to McPherson, Flxible did not offer seperate and distinct models desugnated as "combination cars" until after WWII. Prior to that a customer desiring such functionality could order his vehicle fitted with a wide selection of extra cost "ambulance equipment" to create a dual purpose car - usable as either a hearse or ambulance - or what we now call a combination car. As I said, apart from the rather amateurish interior restoration, this is an outstanding car in every respect and probably worth what Ken is asking.
