when putting the headlights back in the 53 we had one origination? sealed beam. I don't this i have ever seen one of these. lots of bulbs and reflectors. kind of things but never a sealed bean with a steel back, and a bulb fixed in place with the glass lens crimped on to it. will really the only part sealed would be the bulb. but kind of neat

Ed I think that is OEM for the Pontiac $6.99 in the day equals $49.99 in todays money. Plastic!!! Ford Taurus Interceptor $875.00 Explorer $1265.00 and the lowly obsolete Crown Victoria from Ford $165.00 from China $27.00. Ford patented the new ones so NO aftermarket. Oh yes the soon to be out new Interceptor supposedly only about $450.00 for a headlight due to complaints from PDs about Explorer price.

That and way better light. You really notice the difference out here. The lit up beltway not much. You drive around your late modal cars on a dark road you get use to not seeing. Then take one of yours with the quid headlights out on the same road and it's like the sun came up.
