My 75 Lifeliner is finally home in Florida
Thanks to my mechanic and friend Joe Lombardi, we pulled off a 26 hour run to South Carolina and back starting around midnight on Friday morning. (Sept 7).
My 75 Lifeliner (ex Keyport NJ First Aid Squad) had been in storage at the home of my daughter Cate and her husband, Dave Miner for about five years. I recently bought a trailer to haul around my '35 Chevy fire truck. This worked great for the Caddy, too. We towed it with a Dodge Hemi 3500 pickup truck.
The engine and transmission are in the back of the truck in this photo. The engine will be rebuilt in the next week or so and I'll start on the frame and firewall. Hope to have this car running by next spring. That's Joe in the photo. Photos will be constantly updated on my website
