Default Turtle lives another day

While leading a funeral procession yesterday there happened to be a turtle crossing the road. So I stop the procession, get out pick the turtle up and walk carry him across the road. When we get to the cemetery the wife of the decedent tells me, "It appears my husband saved a turtles life today". Sure enough if I did not stop that turtle would have been crushed.

Both Jan and I have saved numerous Turtles from the same fate. As we are usually driving a former Police Car. The honks and thumbs up are always nice. Think you took it to new level. WELL DONE!

Kind of hard to take pictures when you have a full procession sitting on the road.

Business before pleasure. And the two best business rules #1 The customer is always right #2 see number one. In that situation you are either a hero or not serving their needs and that depends on the customer. But from the view here you were a hero.

My wife stops for all animals, even to the point of putting us in danger, but that is her mission on this earth and in her life. We love animals of all kinds, okay, almost all kinds.
