I'd strip out all that fiberglass insulation, and have a professional insulation company install spray foam insulation on the roof. It will keep the car cooler, and quieter. Also, make sure that they know exactly how and where the original zippers were installed, and that they duplicate the dipper stitching exactly, right down to the number of teeth per inch of the zipper itself.

I think you're getting carried away on the urethane insulation Paul. He isn't looking to put this rig back in service! I wouldn't do it.

You get that out you have a good view of there construction. They all.used the interier to covet up a lot of sins. A number of products out there that might be better the the fiber glass or the tar card board you see in the vibration spots. But one needs to get a good look at what they have. Before deciding on changes that might be better but still unnecessary for the current use. Looks like a repair at least on a couple of spots is in order. What is hard to find fore the hobby guy is adhesives the last thing you need is you material falling down after you get the new headliner in.

Thanks for the peak. Haven't see under one of them yet.
