I have PM'd David with my experience in BC with uncovered emergency light. I have never had any police question me about my lights either while driving or at car shows.
When I'm driving, I usually get a big thumbs up from them or a wave.
I also had no issue with my Vehicle inspection not being met due to the lights.
I've also never heard of any of the procar owners having and issue.
My advice is just don't do anything stupid to attract attention. Drive with ultra-respect for those around you and never, ever turn on your lights or siren on a public road no matter how tempting.
Just so I'm clear...no issue with the procar owners I know in BC. Cliff Bergum (when he has is '72 Superior/Cadillac, Doug House (1968 Pontiac/Superior, Steve Williams (1956 Chev/National), or the 2 owned by the Ambulance Paramedics Union in BC.
