station wagon stretchers

Thomas E Westfall - Deceased 1970 - 2017

July 7, 1970 ~ June 10, 2017
Ok I need some input on finding the right stretcher for my amblewagon. I found one localy in a local fire departments junk room, but I have had no luck getting it. It was originally in their amblewagon from the 50's. It is broken, but if it is free that works. If it falls through I will be looking for one for my 1957 mercury. I would love some input on this. From previous threads I think the one I'm looking at is a 1960's model do to having both names on the tag.

Thomas, You can check for a model 32 or a model 54-Low. Here is how looks a 32 in a 1958 Chevy Station wagon, and a 54 in a Plymouth police-ambulance vehicle

John, I still used a 27 2 years ago as a one-man cot at the funeral home, didnt know that it was used for living..!

I really like the the way a 27 loads so much nicer then the 29. the second one is a 32 and would be the one Amblewagon stated in the fliers. as for price who can say what you can find. finding one is the problem. when I was new to the club a slick talking Jim V. noticed I had one and traded me out of it. I did not even know what I had. but he had a ambleqwagon that need one and I had a 72 CB that did not. I still have the equipment he traded me for it and he still has the gurney. we are both vary happy. what makes them worth something is if you need one.
