1962 Pinner Pontiac

I'm getting ready to sell some of my old AFD, Mortuary Management, and other odds and ends funeral trade magazines, and while going through them to decide which I'd keep, I came across this Pinner ad. I don't remember seeing this one before. As best as I can tell, it's a '62 Pontiac. Interesting rear roof treatment too. Looks like a Eureka to me.

It is a '62 Pontiac. The rear window is the same as what's on Paul's Chrysler. It's plexiglass, and Jack said they bent the curve by hand.

What is a "Monterey"?

Edsel Ford originally was going to call the new automobile "Falcon", but later changed the name to Mercury. He chose the Romain god, Mercury -- the fleet-footed winged messenger and god of commerce who symbolized dependability, eloquence, speed and skill.
