Where exactly did hess & eisenhardt build there RWD Cadillac 52" inch 5 dr vip limousine and the RWD Lincoln 56" 5dr model that where made in 1988 and beyond . also what was the plant in madison heights michigan used for.

the michigan plant was used for the fleetwood 75, De ville convertible and the 6 door on the 84 to 89? "might be off a year here" on the FWD chassis. the other cars were built in Ohio if I'm not mistaken. till the end of the company. the last year they were really built for them by superior.

Thanks john , the car in question had 2 vin's, it was titled as a 1988 but was made mid year in 1987 and converted in 1988 with 1988 trim. i understand
i think how to read the sticker that was inside the driver dr the top was the base car vin the lower was the number of that vehicle when it was converted . this was a vehicle i drove back in 2000 and was sold 2 years later.
