'67 Crown repair

Meanwhile, up the hill from the body shop in the storage slot next to the paint booth, the '67 Crown combo is awaiting the return of a right bumper end sent for replating. Once it's back, everything can be reassembled to complete the repair. The RF fender has been straightened. Fortunately the grille and bumper were only slightly bent and repairable. There's a brand new radiator sitting there. I was really lucky they found that locally. Man, I gotta paint those surface rust areas under the hood!

a little of the Ace Hardware sime flat rusty metal black will do that right up. just cover everything round it as it drifts badly and will stick to anything it gets on. its a dead on match for the under hood black. it has that enamel look rather then the lacquer shine. but other then that it's a good match. nothing like the flash to show up any little rust spots is there.

Actually it is a barbeque grill. The shop is beside the body shop owner's house. He does great work and enjoys working on older cars, too. What's not visible next to the '75 under plastic is an almost completed '68 Roadrunner!
