Default little help here from

those of you that are Chevy fans. this set of manifolds are to be 64 Chevy. but what Chevy. the front mount is for something I can't find a alternator braked that mounts there. all I can find mount on the side not the front. so do we have a set of a vet or a big truck?

From my Vette days I think Vette no part number on them?

I see 848668 but could be 59 for the last two.which would make since as i recall odd on left even on right. They are fairly rusty.cleaned up Ok the right one is better its cast 3747038

Ed, my guess on that LH is 3846559 ?

Thanks. Checked ebay today they list these new from 75 to 250 bucks new. But nothing new for a Impala. Near as i can tell 64 has the ault mounted on the block. 63 down on the side of the left manifold. I gave 40 buck for the pair we can lop the mount off i guess.

Don't cut off anything. Give some time to find out what they are. Front and rear pictures will be helpful. You are a long way from needing exhaust manifolds, so be patient!
