Advice needed re 1970 Cadillac Superior Ambulance in England

Hi guys, I’ve just bought a 1970 Superior Ambulance which is being delivered to me in England within the next week.

It’s an incomplete restoration project which comes with a lot of the interior missing (door panels, headlining, equipment etc)

I won’t know exactly what I need until it arrives but I have to start searching for parts somewhere so thought I’d see if anyone was parting one out or had any leads where to find parts.

Any help or advice gratefully received ????

Hi Russell, welcome to our forum! Congratulations on your new ambulance. There are probably people here who can help you with parts. I would start with Peter Grave, he is a member of this forum. I would also try Carl Woerner of C W Coach in Cincinatti, Ohio. No doubt, there are others, but I would start there.

Best of luck and please keep us posted on your progress.

About all you can do is wait and see what you have when you get it. At least the body is intact.one thing you can do is as you dig things out. Find a clear spot on the floor and lay out what interier pieces you have. In the order they go into the car.
Then trial fit. I will warn you on the superior the interier pieces are not mirror images. Were they look the same they were hand fit in each place
The other problem is the top bowes. There is an order they fit to the top so if they were removed from the head liner you will need to sort them out. if you don't have a headliner be sure if you get a used one for pattern that they leave the bowes in place. Good luck with it they are a sharp car when completed.

Hi Russel,
I completed a restoration on a 70 a couple of years ago....I am sure I have a few parts in the shop...just let us know what you will be needing and I will take a look....
Good luck with her !
