2017 Professional Car Society International Meet
July 19 - 22, 2017 in Lebanon, Missouri


The Professional Car Society makes its third trip to Lebanon, Missouri. ​Enjoy Ozarks hospitality, unique venues, an indoor Concours d'Elegance, and the best food around these parts!

Schedule of Events

WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 2017
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Registration Desk Open at Hampton Inn

4:00 p.m. - Start your 2017 International Meet experience with a tour of one of the most beautiful funeral homes in the midwest, Holman-Howe Funeral Home. You'll also see the Holman-Howe fleet of active professional cars ranging from a current S&S landau hearse in the hallmark Holman-Howe blue to a horsedrawn hearse still in regular funeral use. The Holman-Howe family and staff will be on hand to welcome you.

Dinner is on your own. Lebanon has many amazing choices ranging from an Applebees to T's Redneck Steakhouse, a favorite of locals and travelers alike! In the mood for catfish or BBQ? Try Dowd's Catfish & BBQ. Pizza, Italian, Mexican, sandwiches, diner food...It's all in Lebanon! We promise you won't be hungry for long!

7:00 p.m. – Professional Car Society, Inc. Board Meeting at Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center, 500 E. Elm St., Lebanon. (Exact meeting room pending). PCS Board Meetings are open to interested members and guests.

THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2017
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Registration Desk Open at Hampton Inn

8:00 a.m. - Board the bus for a trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri! You've never seen a theme park quite like Silver Dollar City. They wear their ozark hillbilly proudly! Ride the rides, explore the shops, listen to the music, see authentic craftsmen at work, and much more! Did you know Silver Dollar City is atop one of Missouri's deepest caves? Explore that, too!

Your day in Branson, MO continues with Dinner & Show at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Theater. Beautiful horses, expert riders, tricks and competition keep you entertained. The audience even gets involved in the North vs. South competition! And the dinner ... well, it's one you won't soon forget.

After the show, the bus heads back to Lebanon for a late evening of parking lot chatter.

FRIDAY, JULY 21, 2017
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Registration Desk Open at Hampton Inn

10:00 a.m.- General Membership Meeting at Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center, 500 E. Elm St., Lebanon (Exact meeting room pending)

4:00 p.m. – We will drive our professional cars a few miles south of Lebanon MO on MO Highway 5 to visit a gem of an automobile collection. Evergreen Historical Automobiles is the huge private collection of the Plaster Family. The have hundreds of unique and rare cars, housed in 150,000 sq. feet of display area. You'll wonder why you've never heard of this before now. We'll enjoy a catered picnic dinner on the Evergreen grounds before returning to the hotel for another evening of camaraderie and tales of "the one that got away."

SATURDAY, JULY 22, 2017 - SHOW DAY!
10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. – The Professional Car Society's Concours d'Elegance is presented in the climate controlled exhibition hall of the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center. The show is always well publicized in the Lebanon/Springfield area and a good crowd of interested guests is expected to stop in to see the unique assemblage of professional cars. Judging of the registered cars will continue until complete and results are tabulated for the awards presentation later.

5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Happy Half-Hour (Cash Bar) Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center's Main Hall
5:30 p.m. – Seating for the Banquet in the center's Main Hall
6:15 p.m. – Program with a well known funeral service historian as the special guest speaker
7:00 p.m. – Awards presentation ceremony
8:00 p.m. – Lights & Sirens Show at I-44 Speedway, Missouri's only asphalt oval race track! Yes, lights AND sirens this year!

Driving:

Lebanon, Missouri is located at the crossroads of Interstate 44 and Missouri Highway 5, approximately
  • 165 miles from St. Louis, MO
  • 175 miles from Kansas City, MO
  • 55 miles from Springfield, MO
  • 83 miles from Jefferson City, MO
  • 233 miles from Tulsa, OK
  • 183 miles from Fayetteville, AR

Airports:

Lebanon's Floyd W. Jones Airport (LBO) is suitable for private and charter aircraft and has a 5000 ft. runway.

Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) is served by United, Allegiant, American and Delta airlines. You can fly non-stop to Springfield from 11 cities, and there are easy connections from dozens of other airports across the country. Lebanon is about a 1 hour trip by car.

St. Louis International Airport (STL) is served by United, Southwest, American, Delta and several other major airlines. Rental car agencies are located at the airport so you can fly in and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Lebanon, MO.

Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is served by Delta, Continental, Frontier, Northwest, Southwest, and other major and regional carriers. Rental car agencies are located at the airport. MCI is 3.5 hours from Lebanon.

Hopefully this will be my first PCS meet. I am contemplating driving my Lifeliner which would be about 1,300 round trip.

For those of you that drive your procar those kinds of distances, are there any spare parts that you usually carry with you in anticipation of a breakdown? Or don't sweat it?
