After a down pour rain fall...

I want to the Barrie Automotive Flea Market yesterday and had a incredible day.

It was sunny and warm until about 5pm when I got soaked in a down pour.
I was soaked like I had jumped in a pool with all my clothes on.

I bet this guy was pissed when he got back to his jeep in the parking field !

Had to share this photo,

great day

Darren,
You found a Jeep in seven inches of water and shared with us. Thank you.
When are you going to share pictures of what made it an incredible day at the Barrie flea market?
Hope you didn't get anything ruined by the rain.

There are photos of the day in many different posts today.

I will take photos of my buys in the next couple days.
All the goods are at the farm !

I'm in Toronto. I had to work at a McDonalds re-Grand Opening today
and at the CN Tower tomorrow.

Thanks for asking !
Darren

Darren are you gonna do the tower walk, for all others you are harnessed at the top of the CN tower and with a lifeline you walk around the top, outside mind you.hopefully Darren can get pictures, from the ground preferably.they asked me but as I ran away I heard :wussie:

It is a evening event for a Machinists Union's convention.

At least only his feet will get wet. Ive seen this happen when people left the convertible top down, now that would suck!

I have gotten caught in the rain with my '63 Corvette at least 4 times in the last 25 years of owning it.

I have a hard top that I take off when I drive it.
I don't use the conv. top as it is white and has yellowed some.
I will get a new one at some point.

I remember the weather channel saying zero chance of rain today so I drove to work without the top. Around noon the rain came down in buckets.

Nothing I could do but drive home with a wet ass. Even drying the seats off didn't help as when you sat in it, the water came through the seats from the foam.

:pat:

I have also rode my motorcycle in the rain countless times so a good soaker is nothing new to me.

I was riding home from Montreal on it in the rain with a cool wind and there was nothing on my mind but a nice dry warm bed for 5 hours.

That was my worse rain ride. More like a nightmare !
