my first thoughts would be it was something from the shops of John JC Little and if I remember right probably one of his last creations.

Default its a Ford

The front parking lights are 56 Ford. The side trim looks more Canadian than American style. Whatever it is I don't think I know anyone who would not like to have one.

Perfect for my mother-in-law! She loves red! Only wish is was Mercury, their car of choice. She has nothing bad to say about Mercurys and I have nothing but good to say about her Kolachies (prune biscuits)! They BOTH have a lot of GO in them! Ha, Ha, Ha

Default Candadian ford

I believe a Candadian Ford pickup in that era was marqued as a "Mercury". Not sure on the Canadian cars then....may a "Meteor"? MM
