1948 Chrysler Royal Limousine

1948 Chrysler Royal Limousine From Hemmings site a strange Chrysler limo. This car has the removable center post as the ambulance models did. Also has spotlight and siren BUT regular seating no place for a cot or disabled passenger. Black like FH operator. Perhaps was limolance and the interior was changed back to use for a family car. Would be interesting to know history. https://www.hemmings.com/classified...er/royal/1903724.html?refer=news#&gid=1&pid=3

I'm thinking we have seen this one before it been awhile back. but can't be a lot of them that look like this. but true to form listed in Hemming s about 10 to high is it was re done it would be worth the asking price. but there is something strange about the floor. in 48 it should have a rubber mat i would think. the rest might be just a buff and clean one would have to go see in person to tell.

But a tight weave. Not a multi colored pile the isn't under the sills. Just adds to the some one redid the insides

Correct rug would have been that hog's hair(?) stuff that was common then. This doesn't look to be original.
