1969 Fleetwood 75 - NC

It (could be) as the State of CA historically saves very few cars. I know of only a few CHP Cars of the rarer one year versions ie: a '70 Merc, a '67 Olds, a '62 Chrysler one of the 1st series Camaros + a SSP Mustang or two that are safely stored away at their academy grounds in West Sacramento and brought out only for special occasions. They also have saved a few of the "muscle car era" Dodges, but no other agency vehicles including the famous (pair) of Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown's stripped down Plymouth 4 Door Sedans from his 1st Administration as our CA-GOV.

Somewhat related..... before Pete Wilson was Governor of CA, he was the Mayor of San Diego. The Mayor's Office was in the same building as the HQ for the SD Fire Department. Several FIRE Captains were assigned the rotating duty of driving him around in a Black Series-75 Cadillac housed there versus the more common Police Officer Driver version now. I remember their code name for him was "JUNIOR".... probably because he was a "little weasel" then..... and bigger weasel with an even larger EGO as CA Governor later on. MM
