This should keep y'all busy....

Paging Adam Borkat.......

Gee Cary, thanks for reminding me I miss that car too :p

Although mine was a '52, one of about 200 made. Was original owned by a funeral home in NC, and I sold it to a Chrysler collector in Vegas who was going to fully restore it. He never sent me any progress pictures, now that I think about it.

I ended up getting this in trade for my '74 Superior (my first pro. car). I never got beyond rebuilding the carb, and sadly never drove it either...

Once again Alden Jewell has made my jaw drop with some stunning literature scans. This is only a small sampling of some of the stuff he has posted in the last week...Please look at his Flickr page for more including police car and taxi stuff.....you wont leave disappointed...you might even get lost there for an hour as I do on many occasions.

Thanks Cary , lov looking at older pics of pro cars, i really like the older imperials by ghia , and lov the pontiac embassy limousine by superior.

Since I wasnt feeling up to running down to Georgia for the meet this weekend, I found myself surfing the web with my coffee mug in hand. A quick visit to Alden Jewells site has rendered yet more treasures.

The 1966 MM Brochure and cars have always been favorites of mine. Of course many of us started out years ago with the above car in the model kit form from Johan. Back in the early 80's there were both a Citation and a Classic Limousine in the St Pete Florida area for sale. I didnt have 2 dimes to rub together back then but I could drive by the Classic Limousine weekly and dream. It was black over gold and somewhere I have a crappy 110 photo of it....As well as 2 built Johans and a few new ones still in the box.

A tip of the hat to Alden Jewell once again for sharing his fascinating collection of ALL types of auto literature online.

don't knock my dream car. I almost had one till I figured out I need to build a building to house it. 28 feet long is longer then anything here right now.
