Is that a power window switch on the door panel? That has to be rare!

It was not that uncommon to see power windows on these, after all they were luxury cars. They were hydraulic powered, not by electric motors as they are now.

It seems almost every ad now says make a great rat rod (no matter what the year is), and Ive seen more and more lately mentioning needs diesel engine. I do not understand this at all.
 
"Sits on a Packard truck frame"? Really? And what, exactly, does he think is a Packard truck frame? Packard didn't make trucks, not since the 1920's, so it would be very strange to be on a 1920's Packard truck frame.

Dad used to own a '48 Henney Packard combination. It, too, had hydraulic windows.
