Thought that PCS people everywhere would be pleased to hear that Rochester, Minnesota member and Mayo Clinic Anesthesiologist Roger D. White, MD - purchaser of the last Cadillac ambulance ever built and an unfailingly generous sharer of pro-car images from his own collection - is prominently featured in a May 17th, 2011 article in THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. Entitled "96 Minutes Without A Heartbeat," it discusses Dr. White's crucial role in developing an innovative new technique for reviving sufferers of sudden cardiac arrest, averting brain damage and greatly increasing their odds of survival even in cases where it takes a long time to restore heartbeat or reach an ER. The article, authored by Ron Winslow, can be found online at this link ...

Once you read it, I'm sure you'll all agree congratulations are in order to Dr. White - not just for his prominent mention in the JOURNAL, but also for his direct role in saving a life that would have been considered lost by earlier thinking about sudden cardiac arrest.

A person does not need to viisit with Dr. White for long to realize his passion and dedication to defibrillation procedures and improving the outcome of cardiac emergencies. As a personal friend, I am aware of the countless hours he spends traveling, researching, presenting, and collaborating on this important subject so that lives can be saved and their quality increased.

Congratulations, Dr. White, on this well-deserved recognition!
