Default 1989 six door limo for sale

Price seems fair. Might be some good parts. https://lansing.craigslist.org/cto/d...649293795.html

looks like a Collins .pull that 307 and drop a 350 in there and you will have a car. a bath will work wonders for it.

Great story from back in the days when we were handling all the Caprice cop cars. A GM Chevie rep told me there was a meeting at Cadillac and one of the topics covered was complaints from the limo industry of the poor performance and fuel mileage of the 307 Olds engine in the stretch limos. There was a great deal of can kicking over what to do. Then an unamed engineer said wait we are putting a 350 FI Chevrolet engine in the Caprice cop cars with the same front frame as the Brougham make a wiring harness and bolt it in. A little brief but you get the idea. By 91 we had the 350 in all that series of cars as an option.

Very doubtful that this one will ever be brought back. Most in this condition just end up being sold by the ton.

That is because the are not that hard to find and fairly cheap to buy.
