1964 Buick combo Dayton

I spent some time with this Flxette while it was under Mike Hennessy's ownership out here in CA. I removed the vinyl top and prepped the body for the blue and white paint-job.
Tim is correct, there was a lot of rust and bondo, especially on the roof from the previous hole repair where the "chicken" was mounted. I cut the rust out of the door bottoms, rockers, quarters, etc. and welded in new metal, but Mr. Hennessy was on a tight budget and the top was a lost cause, so there's still a ton of bondo in it. It looked decent after the fresh repaint and it was a nice driving car.
The rear "floor" is basically just a 4'x8' covered in a woodgrain veneer, supported by 2x4s at the front corners and nothing but carpeted Buick floor-pans underneath (as seen in post #25, pic #2).. The Flxible floor panels, step well, etc. are long gone.

The car was also featured alongside two other Flxettes on the cover of TPC #125, the 2007 International Meet issue -
