Seems like a lot of people drive by it and take pictures because I've seen it posted on Flickr and number of times....too bad its just sitting out there

What is the fire truck on the other side of the building?
Is there a member close by that could check these out?

What is the fire truck on the other side of the building?

Which one? The white one on the left appears to be a 1949-ish Seagrave 66E pumper, while the lime green one on the right is a 1965-ish ALF 900 Aero Chief platform. I wish I could get a better view, but the picture is too fuzzy...

Our "Northland Motorcycle Traveler", Kevin Kocur, emailed me photos he took of this car earlier in the summer. He spotted it while riding through Green River. I did call and speak to a gentleman with the Green River Fire Department. Had a very nice conversation with him. Told me they buoght the Pontiac new and retired it ca. 1985. They don't have any plans to sell it and are planning to restore it for parade use.
