Found this live documentary while surfing. It's about the emergency staff of the Sacré Coeur Hospital in the north of Montreal island.

It's in french but take a close look at 12:41, you have 2 nice examples of Demers ambulances, at 62:28 the arrival of a Superior Pontiac with a nicely dressed EMT (I mean Nice outfit!!) and at 113:01, a low top station wagon... Lincoln..?!?

I can't seem to advance the film (using my cursor on the time element) as on most videos...is there a trick to this one?

Steve,

Just place and click your cursor ahead rather than trying to "drag" it.

I love the clothes and hairstyles. Did we really dress like that back then? The last station was an Oldsmobile I think.

Thanks for posting this Martin or should I say merci beaucoup!

quebec ambulances

Really shows the state of the industry back then in rural small town quebec, mom & pop ambulances and when the call came in they dropped the tools in the garage or grabbed junior from the gas pumps and did the call..... other than the early Demers rigs the blue one looks like it might have been a combination. They also broke the cardinal rule we had drilled into us--never lift the stretcher from the siderails!
