It was 1966 and the Worcester, MA Police Department just purchased 2 Miller-Meteor Classic 42 ambulances. Each was white over blue with 4 Ful-Vue lights, one at each corner of its roof. Within a few days of the purchase, one of the ambulances was dispatched to the house across the street from me. It was about 8:00 PM and the most striking memory of that night was how the entire neighborhood was lit up blue. Yes, blue. The lenses of the Ful-Vues were colored police blue. So now my question: Has anyone ever seen a set of Ful-Vues that had lenses other than red? Jim

Since they are airplane marker lights they have lenses in a number of colors. But on a car no i have not

That just explained a question I've had for over 50 years.

The Amazing Bachman (surplus dealer) had thousands of them in one of his warehouses. Naturally, Jerry wouldn't sell for a reasonable price, so they all wound up going to scrap along with the carbon arc searchlights when the city took the property for taxes.
