Former Presidential Limo?

Sometime late 2014, I went to buy a car from a collector in northern California, and couldn't help but notice this limo on the property. The collector said it was used by Ronald Regan during his presidency, and was kept on the president's property in California. It was an interesting claim, and certainly an interesting car when I took a closer look!

Just came across these pictures the other night, and figured I would share on here...maybe someone can contribute/disprove the authenticity of the owner's story?
 
Look's like the same construction as one we had Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms . Ex president Ford lived in Palm Springs, we had around a 71-74 one. Been awhile forgot the exact year . It was stored there with us in vehicle maintenance building. Was never used , one day EOD came and it was taken to the range and blown up to see how it would hold up. Not many parts left when they where done. :eek:

In 1981 we graded all the roads at Rancho del Cielo + the adjoining fire roads for the USSS (Paid for by the USFS-Los Padres NF) in preparation for Barbara Walters' interview with President Reagan touring the ranch in the older of two Jeeps kept there (with the windshield down and a large camera mounted). The only Secret Service Vehicles we saw there then was a (modified) Black Suburban and a couple of unmarked Dodge Diplomats. (*) The amount of rust on the Cadillac would be very indicative of being randomly used and parked at that location just above the Pacific Ocean off US-101. MM
 
According to a man who builds armoreds, first generation Kevlar & resin. The resin was just slopped into the door and cloth pushed into place best it could be. He also says it was supposedly superior to ballistic plate and heavy when dry.

Absolutely no consideration was given to durability or service life of the car when SS converted from plates. Windows didn't operate but the tracks and associated window framing were good anchor points for the Kevlar package.

He also says they were built in multiples although no numbers can be given out.
