I picked up this rusty cot bar out in the parking lot. figured it would be good for parts at least. it poved to be a bit of a challenge as the release handle was rusted solid to the bar. but with some big hammer challenge and one lucky I was not stand in front when I took that screw out we got it reduced to pieces.
strange part on this one is it's bearing a Washington label but all the pieces are ferno. my guess is it's a later one just before they dropped the Washington line.
anyway if you have never see one of these things apart here it is in relationship to it's position on the bar. the only difference inside all of them is the length of the release rod and a kink is the bar is bent in the rear.
the tension spring is keep between the lock hook and a spacer normal one can take things out from the rear and relieve the tension that way.
