'56 Buick Wagon Conversion

To me, it looks like there is a gurney on the left side, and they are loading in a gurney on the right side. Keep in mind that back then, the ambulance went out with a driver and an attendant, but the patient(s) rode in the back unattended. Standard operating procedure of the day.

Jean Mark duguays pontiac ambulance (f I remember corectly) way able to store 2 strechers in the back and then 2 gurneys from the ceiling, so anything is possible I guess.

The patient in the car is on the passenger side on an auxiliary stretcher, while the other one is being loaded on the main cot.

it is a full cot with the floor pegs. most likely a 27. 50s for sure white Ts, blue jeans and penny loafers. the uniform of the day. my guess from the back ground is a collage or boarding school of some sort. the wagon conversion would be likely there also
