Anybody got any idea what make this is? I've never seen front lights like that.

Winnipeg,Manitoba police back in the day ran the ambulance and had similar type lights, looks like a mechanics creation,to keep the costs down, there was a coach builder St Catherine coach did some early 60's GMC's source Peter Adstens book EMS classics page 143,123,95 sorry not able to download pics.

Looks like a 4-wheel drive Napco unit? Means a lot of non-ambulance people will be after it for parts. The drivetrain alone is worth more than the asking price. The other two pictures look like they were taken in the 70's, or at least with a camera from the 70's.

Sorry, have to disagree with this statement, having lived in Winnipeg from 1951 until 1989, and being an ambulance chaser (and employee) for many of those years. Winnipeg Police Dept. ran a single ambulance, with limited criteria for use. Private ambulances handled medical related emergency calls in central Winnipeg, and the FD handled MVA's and other incidents in public places with their box rescue trucks. The PD had a single '53 or '54 Monarch ambulance (builder unknown), which was replaced in '63 by a C/B Cotington 48unit. That vehicle was phased out and replaced by a series of Plymouth and Ford station wagons in the early '70's, which served a dual purpose of patrol car and transport unit. These wagons were turned over to the city when they took over all ambulance operations in 1975. A couple of the wagons became Supervisor/extrication vehicles, and the remaining one was used by the stores dept. to deliver laundry to outlying stations.

Sorry about that, did not mean" ran the ambulance" should have read ran an ambulance, just using it for the lights on the C/B ambulance they had were different, and seemed to resemble somewhat these shown on the posting, thanks for catching that, and for the info..:)
