CONGRATULATIONS!

you need one of my $3000 retainer rings for that car. but I guess I'm not understanding what light you need it for. were on that roof light is that small ring located front or rear. is it a 4 -5 or 6 in ring.

$1500 ambulance

Purchased new by Deal NJ. This car was displayed at the 1987 International Meet in New Hope PA. Shortly thereafter it was offered FREE to any NJ squad that needed an ambulance but there were no takers. If memory serves it only had 18,000 miles on it in 1987. :confused2:

It was also at the 2007 International meet in Burbank.

Sweet car :D

Yea I am .:yankchain:

This is a friends ambo. I was looking at a light that was inop and trying to find the retaining ring for the front top roof light. Bulb is just a fog light bulb with a glass lens in front . The rubber around the lens was bad but I had some beading from Metro rubber . All I need is some small screws for the lens retainers and the clamp and we are back in business. Ed the clamp is about 7" closed and about 7 and a 3/8th open. Thanks !

That is the same band as used on the C-6 siren light front housing.

PS......

Where are the pictures of the $1500 ambulance?????

Are those just a flashing bulb or is that the mechanism for the solar-rays? I am missing the "guts" out of my front tunnels, but my rear tunnel light, which uses the same bezel and clamp, is a sealed red beam, which fits into a chrome ring and held with wire clips, and then held to the outer housing by three screws. It must be common to lose that clamp - one of my rear lights is held on with several wraps of electrical tape.

Some pics it is a fog light bulb with a red lens in front. The mechanism just pivots the light up and down.

Thanks for the pics of the mechanism, it's nice to know what I'm missing. My understanding is that's the Federal Solar-Ray light without the rear portion of the housing. If you find extras of the clamp, I'm in need of one for the rear.
:thankyou2:

you can put it in 90 out also so it eather sweeps side to side or up and down. rather a intresting light. the screw will rust into the retainer and people tear it up getting it off.
