Default 65-67 wheels

if you have been glancing at the 67 put together you may remember we ended up with 2 wheels off a older car. trying to get some stuff finished before winter sets is so we need to get all 4 wheels alike on this car. as long as I have a set of known 67 wheels I tried to compare them to see if there was anyway to tell the difference.

I have not got them them off the tires yet but looking over the outside I see that the older wheels have been stamped outside on the centers. were the 67 ones are blank and have a stamp inside the rim. there the last shots are the 67 cover on the older wheel and it on the 67 wheel. this really shows the difference in the outer rim. the first two are the older wheels the 3rd one is the 67 wheel

Default

Ok got the wheels swapped today. Looked over that older set and they are not marked on the inside rim. The only stamping is on the outer center. The only stamping on the 67 set is inside the rim nothing on the center. Hope this saves some one else from making that mistake.
