Ambulances will always be a better "investment" than hearses, if you could ever call any old car an "investment".

I have had every type of professional car known to man, from Amblewagons, Flower Cars, Limousines, Combinations, Ambulances and Hearses. So, I am not exactly a stranger to any of them. My point here is that you can buy a "show ready' wonderful driving car for perhaps $3 to $5K. Personally,

Agreed, no doubt. But, you would have to spend exponentially more money to buy a Cadillac ambulance in such fine condition. To that, Mike McDonald's Criterion is the bargain of the week!
 
The problem with these '93-'96 Hearses is that 99% of the general population do not recognize them as being collectible or vintage. They are extremely difficult to sell, if you are hoping to sell one to someone who will preserve it as a collectible vehicle and not "screw it up".
