you come by your buddy's place ad this car sites out side with a decent interior and one glass missing . you watch the interior slowly crumble as the seasons go by when this simple trick would have save it.

we are up to doing some painting on the 58. but we are not ready to put the glass in it yet. we don't want the cat whiskers in place and there is going to be a little resurrection in some of the risers. noting we can do with the car painted. so it fill the hole with some of this storm window in a box. we'll duct tape it to the inside and it will keep most of the water out of the interior. this stuff is a shrink wrap all you do is heat it with the hair drier and it shrinks to a tight tough film.

I wonder where you can buy what is commonly referred to as "crash wrap"? This is the stuff that tow yards and salvage auctions use to keep the water out of late model wrecks.

a garbage bag will work also. the point I was trying to make was seal it up there is a lot of stuff out there and a interior will run you between 5 and 10 grand.
