neil young's 48 buick flxible hearse to sell at auction next week.

Pages 138 & 139 in the catalog. Very solid and original! Tried to copy & paste photos, but it wouldn't let me do it.
 
The hearse being sold isn't the original one he had back in the '60s.
It is a one that is the same as he had. Big difference but still neat.

I would like to find the original one even if it is just yard art at this point.
Sure would like to know if it is still in Northern ON. Likely not 55 years later.

For anyone who may be interested, according to the Flxible production and delivery records, this particular car (16098) was delivered to J. R. Hogg of the Hogg Funeral Home in Wicomico, Virginia in August of 1948. It was a Premier end-loading funeral car (B21-748). The Frame number was/is 14912342 and the engine number was/is 50973897. So....there you go. We now know for whom this one was originally built.By the way, the Hogg Funeral Home is still in business with two locations in Wicomico.
