1971? Superior End loading Landaulet Trailer

Denny Shira - Deceased - 1951 - 2020

June 5, 1951 - January 29, 2020
Digging into my many pictures again today. Came up with a dandy.
This unit was actually used by a funeral home as A removal vehicle. Took a BIG car to pull it. If my memory serves me right, it was a full size Chrysler product.
Unconventional, maybe, but it served it's purpose.

Suffice it to say that the funeral director was just starting out, and probably thought that it would be a good option and he could save some money.
I can tell you that his funeral business has flourished, and he is very well respected in the small community that he serves.
That having been said, I thought that it was strange (read creepy) myself.

Story of my life. Looking for the most common thing out there and they have all been crushed with them on the car

If a funeral director pulled up to my home with that POS to pick up a loved one of mine, I would run him off of my property!
