Battle of the Duals Car Show

This was my first time here but it certainly was awesome. Held at a Drive-In church in South Daytona. Nice old Ford ambulance and ran in to the GaFather in his Eldo.

Sieburts?

I guess I didn't realize that Shop of Sieburt did panel delivery conversions also. any idea what agency had the unit built originally?

Gives the appearance of one of many built for the Coal Mines. This was done so they had quick available transportation for injured workers. Many mines were located far from ambulance service. Same holds true for logging operations. Also these units had higher ground clearance than Packards and Cadillacs and roads were at best poor.

Also it was a lot cheaper for a rig seldom used but required to be there. A lot of in house conversions done for this reasion also.
