I Am Excited!

Some of you may know that Lucille and I recently bought Bill Beetschen's 1970 Superior-Pontiac Consort ambulance. From what we can see and the fact that it will fit in our garage at home, it should be a fun car to own, drive and show. I just booked the shipping today, so as soon as they assign a carrier, it will be headed east. I can't wait to see it in person!

Once the Consort arrives, we will post some pics, no doubt. As of now, we still have the 68 Superior, with no immediate plans in mind.

I’ll bet those shorties were quick little devils! Question...could full size litters fit in them or did they need to use shorter ones?

Full sized stretchers would fit in them, but when the head end was lowered all the way, it was inches from the back of the driver's seat. That's why the Consorts and Sevilles didn't have medicine cabinets, and very rarely had partitions.
