1954 cadillac hearse landau bars

How is it that there are so many sets of landau bars floating around out there with no attaching hardware? What are they really worth with no attaching hardware?(I would think scrap price)
 
the funeral supply house up in Canada can supply you with a set of knobs. you change all 4 most people won't notice it put them on upside down a no one will. not a lot of meteors out there to use them up on is the problem

John, what is the name of the company that sells those. I was going to have a bud of mine machine me up a set. But im sure buying them would be time and money ahead.
