The 1968 Superior-Pontiac left New Jersey today, heading to her new home in Taos, New Mexico. The new owner has just become a PCS member and a Site Supporter on this forum, his name is Joaquin Gonzales. It is my hope that he will enjoy his first professional car and his memberships, as much as I have.
I have to say that last night, when I was getting some possessions out and putting some items in, I found myself choked up, with tears in my eyes. Truthfully, I never had those emotions about any of my cars, but this car was different. It was a dream for me to buy the car, bring it up to its current condition and show it with pride. We had it for nearly four years! But, due to constant storage difficulties, she was always a half an hour drive away. You just don't use a car too often, when it is at that distance. But, the ambulance will always have a place in our hearts and memories. Lucille said that it was her favorite car, too!
In any event, we wish the new owner many happy "s"miles!
