I've always wanted one of these stretched (pre-'69) Springfields. This is the most complete one I've seen--other than the few out there owned by ambulance outfits--in over 30 years. Sadly, the cost to restore this one is out of my reach.

Hennepin County (Minneapolis) had a whole fleet of blue and white IH ambulances in the 60's and early 70's. Perhaps that's where this one originated?

I had one a long wheelbase from Mercer County New Jersey too rusty to save but a giant heavy rig. The rust in it was unbelievable as Mercer County is not a salty area.
