April 16: Cruise-In at The Flushing “A” Restaurant (formerly A&W Rootbeer), 200 S. Cherry St, Flushing MI 48433, Phone: 810-659-3401, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

This is the very first cruise-in of the season so try and make it out to the event.

May 15: Gilmore Car Museum DUST OFF SUNDAY.

WHAT IS A DUST OFF YOU ASK?

It's the start of summer and time to get your Antique, Classic, Muscle Car, Hot Rod, Racer - Trailer Queen, Show Car, Motorcycle or Project Car out of the garage, fire it up, and dust it off! Head to the Gilmore Car Museum. Summer is fast approaching and it’s time to enjoy our vehicles. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Entrance fee includes admission into the museum. This season opening event is only $5.00 per person if you show your antique, classic, hot rod, rat rod, muscle car, project car, racer, low rider, vintage truck... you get the picture! Swap Meet space available. $9.00 general admission if you do not have a vehicle. Nothing formal – No Trophies – No Pressure – Just dust it off and Join Us for the third annual DUST OFF SUNDAY on May 15, 2011. www.gilmorecarmuseum.org

June 11: Cruise-in at Old “A” Drive – In

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 1338 W. Bristol Road, Flint, MI. Door prizes, great food, and wonderful time with old friends.

June 25-26: Sloan Museum Auto Fair

This event is a fun-filled two-day show with plenty of music, entertainment, vendors and of course, automobiles! The Flint Cultural Center campus becomes home to more than 600 of the best looking cars, trucks and motorcycles around. The event starts Saturday at 9:00 a.m. At 6:00 p.m. the cruise to the Hot Dog Stand in Grand Blanc will start at Sloan Museum. Come back on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to see everything again and find out who won awards! Awards start on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. This fantastic event is open to the public. Just $5 per person allows you to wander among an amazing automobile show. Enjoy lectures, feature cars, exhibits, planetarium shows, kids activities, music and much more! The Michigan Chapter will be in charge of the car registration gate from 8-11. We need as many volunteers as possible for that day. I will have special gifts for those of you who volunteer.

September 24: Michigan Antique and Collectible Festival/Car Show, Midland, MI,

Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Midland County Fairgrounds, 6905 Eastman Ave, Midland, MI. Join us for family fun in the large car-show field. Once registered, feel free to see Michigan's largest antique and collectible festival featuring a swap meet, large collector car for-sale lot, entertainment, and a variety of food vendors. Hundreds of car show entries are processed each day, so get there early to fully enjoy the show! The first 300 cars get a dash plaque. Best of Show Trophy will be awarded, and door prizes throughout the day.

Judging ends at 3PM. Admission for Driver - $6.00 (Includes Sat. & Sun.), Passengers $6.00(per day) Children under 11 are free! www.miantiquefestival.com
