1962 Cadillac Eureka Hearse

Hi!

My name is Martin and I am from Austria. Since June 2010 I am the proud owner of the above mentioned car.
My problem is the lack of technical data.

Especially:
-gross vehicle weight
-gross axle weight rating
-maximum speed
-engine output
-engine displacement

Is there anybody out there who could supply me with these data?

Many thanks in advance!!!

Hi glad you have found us. the international club has members in Germany, England, Denmark, France and Sweden. won't take long for the information your seeking to get posted. my guess as I don't know the real weight is right at 7000 pounds. most of the caddy's were not to exceed 5500 rpm and depending on the rear axle ratio and tires size would be able to exceed 120 mph. I have not had one that old and none of my books go back that far for the specks. be nice to see a picture of the car.

62 Eureka specs/info

Martin,

Welcome,
PM me on the site or through my yahoo email. karmann1946@yahoo.com
The 62 Cadillac V8 displaced 390 cubic inches.
The rated horse power was 325 with a 4 barrel carb.
The rear axle ratio is probably the same as the 61 models 3:73
My coach as weighed on a public scale many years ago is 6430 pounds.
The factory tires were 8.20 x 15 bias ply. We did not get radials for a few more years here in the states.
The optional tire was a bit larger 9.00 x 15 bias ply.
Any other info I can probably dig out of my factory shop manual. Just ask.

Mike Stevens
