2003 Limo

I have a 2003 Superior Cadillac 6-door limo. Twice now it has died on a funeral service; 1) when returning from the cemetery, 2) When leaving a church enroute to the cemetery. Obviously, very disconcerting and embarrassing. This is an electrical problem where something in the system blows a vital fuse. We think we have traced it down to something in the wiring that activates the rear air conditioning from a rocker switch in the ceiling by the rear view mirror. Anyone familiar with any problems generic to the year, model, etc? Very frustrating:

I would lean to something like that. it's time to plug it in and let it tell you what is wrong. a man can go broke guessing, switching things out.

but it it's blowing a main fuse it's time to start tracing wiring out. the problem would be after that rocker switch. if turning it on blows it. either
switch is bad or the wire going back has a short. disabling that hot wire to the switch and run the car would be a quick check. it's most likely the wire going to what ever the switch controls has worn threw at a pinch point. sometimes you get lucky right off some times you never find it and just run a new wire.

how the aftermarket people add there equipment to GM's is always a mystery
