PCS member Roy Garretson, his wife and family, owners of Shook Funeral Home in Clifton, NJ, hosted their fourth annual car show today. This show is held in conjunction with the Clifton Street Fair. Although the turnout of show cars was less than anticipated. there were hundreds of spectators all day long. Interestingly enough, there was one ambulance and three gorgeous limousines at the show.
PCS member Roy Garretson displayed his 1942 Fleetwood Seventy Five, future member Frank Simone showed his dark green 1941 Fleetwood Seventy Five and PCS member Lou Filardo showed his dark blue 1978 Fleetwood Seventy Five. We showed the 1968 Superior Pontiac ambulance. We had lots of interest and questions on the ambulance. No doubt, the limousines got their share of attention, too.
All in all, it was a great day with classic cars, music, food and friends!
