remember awhile back there was some discussion on the studs superior used to hold there aluminium trim on. I came up missing some of them putting things back together on this 63. now we know we can't buy them so the only thing to do is make them. remember the task. it has to fit the slot and be able to slide in it . it must hold the molding in place. pretty it don't need to be and a exact match it doesn't need to be. this is what I did to a small t bolt to get it to work

the small square head is the superior one. the t bolt is the one I trimmed to fit. it a narrow slot that they slide into. the post has to slid as the molding moves when you put it one and tighten it down. they had to use the aluminium so it could bend to the surface as you tighten it. you have to bend it to get it off. strand construction but it works he is a larger t bolt I have cut down to make the last one. aveco has these for sale but buy the box not the small bag. you will need to grind the stud down on the backside to get them to slide. remember all it has to do is keep from turning so you can tighten it down. the green in the lid is the superior name tag background color.
