the problem with a open air shop

been getting the 72 ready to respond to Rochester. wanted to do it now so we don't have that big rush to get things done at the last minute. the car needs a complete. we are not happy with the way it was repaired back east. but I don't want to show up with primer. so it's so it a quickie used car lot repair for now. remembering that nothing last longer then a temporary repair, the rattle can skirts was 3 years ago. we have decided to spot things in and redo the skirts to something that might shine. then buff the old gal till it's the best looking car going past on the interstate. but we are into the scattered rain showers kind of thing. to do it inside would require leaving 3 others out. but today was the day we got it done, one side at a time. believe it or not this car is still in it'a factory lacquer. will most places that is. there is nothing that can compare to the glow of lacquer. base-clear next to it is just a flat cheap shine.
