An interesting day in the Northland

Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020

September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
It was cloudy and rainy here in Minnesota today; felt more like winter than spring. Yet, some professional cars decided that enough was enough and there would be no more waiting around in closed garages. A few of them got loose and this one made its way to our place.

This is a 1988 Eureka Buick Patrician landaulet. Was sold new to Minnehaha Funeral Home of Baltic, South Dakota by T&N Professional Car Sales of Minneapolis and was in service there for many years. Was then owned by a professional car enthusiast friend for the past couple of years.

With just 53,000 original miles, this car is in very nice shape - even the power antenna still works! It has optional cast-aluminum wheels and heavy velour drapes. I've always liked these Patrician models with the C-pillar coach windows. As it sits, this coach mostly just needs a good wheel & tire cleaning / detailing and it is ready for service.
